 MORE ABOUT SNAPTM
SNAPTM is suitable for use with school aged children in Year 3 to Year 11 (ages 7 to 16).

Hardware/software requirements
As SNAPTM is an online computer assessment program, you will need a computer running Internet Explorer 6 or above and an internet connection to be able to use the software. You will also need a .pdf reader to be able to view your results.

The assessment process
A licence for use is purchased before the SNAPTM assessment can be undertaken. Please contact the SNAPTM team for more details about licence costs for the project.

Each pupil completes SNAPTM (the online computer assessment program) at school, and is asked to answer questions about the things they had to eat and drink and what physical activities they did the previous day. SNAPTM takes about 30 minutes to complete, and there should be no discomfort for, or risk to, your pupils during this study. To see how the program works, please click here.

No pupil names are recorded, and the data is analysed at a group level (year group and whole school), so no individual pupil can be identified. Data collected is entirely anonymous and is confidentially stored on a secure server, which only the researchers associated with the project are able to access.

Data collected from SNAPTM is saved automatically when pupils click the submit button at the end of the assessment. A report containing the basic level of feedback on your data is available for download within 4-6 weeks of your last pupil completing the SNAPTM assessment. For more details on the feedback process please click here.
